Born in Montgomery County but raised on Maryland's Eastern Shore, Chantal has extensive knowledge of the Chesapeake Bay and Coastal areas along with all the history that surrounds it. Chantal grew up in a small crabbing and fishing town on an island in the Chesapeake Bay. It wasn't long after her humble beginnings that she was out exploring the world, traveling to numerous countries from Australia to Norway. It was the pristine beauty and salty air of the Eastern Shore that always brought her back home. Chantal was first licensed in Maryland in 2000 specializing in waterfront homes while also running her father's marine construction business responsible for the construction of the most esteemed marinas in the Mid Atlantic region, such as Sunset Marina and Ocean City Fishing Center. After marrying a corporate pilot in Connecticut in 2006, Chantal obtained her Connecticut license and specialized in luxury homes and estates. She lived and raised her two children, two labs and two cats there until 2017 when she returned to her roots in Maryland to be closer to her family. Chantal takes pride in providing her clients with quality service that leads to successful long-term relationships. Chantal is an aviation enthusiast with over 25 hours logged in flight time to obtain her private pilot's license. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, painting marine wildlife, boating/sailing, horseback riding and spending time with her family.     Chantal is great to work with and I definitely recommend her if you’re looking to buy a house. The house I bought actually took us 5 months to close on as it caught on fire during our home inspection. So it was a very long process but Chantal kept us updated on everything along the way and did everything possible to keep everything moving along to finally be able to close!

    My husband and I are from NJ and have been coming to this area camping for 13 years +. This year we were seasonal and started looking for houses in this area. Our daughter, son in law and new granddaughter live in fenwick island. We went to look at 1 house and Chantal showed it to us. We liked it but it was not for us. We talked with Chantal and she was the most pleasant agent we’ve met. We gave her our information and she said she will check some houses out and let us know. Well a few days later we saw a house come up that we were interested in and Zillow asked if we would like Chantal show us this house. Of course we said definitely yes. I texted her in the meantime and she got right back to us. She was very helpful and flexible with our schedule. Well, we loved the house and are under contract and closing on Tuesday. Any time I texted her for any question’s, she called or texted back asap. We are very pleased with Chantal and will definitely tell everyone about her. And I just read the review before me and I’m confused. They must have the wrong person. Chantal has checked in with me about everything that is going on with the buying of our new home, along with making sure I was feeling better after she knew I was sick.     I was connected with Chantal via Zillow inquiry, and during our very first call, I let her know i didn’t have an urgent timeline. She was slow to follow up with information, and would only communicate by phone call, during daytime work hours. It was difficult to align. She suddenly became extremely pushy, then sent personal insults when I asked to part ways officially due to our different styles.
